Story

This year I am aiming to cycle 300km from Sydney to Canberra to raise funds for SIDS and the stillbirth foundation. The reason for doing this is deeply personal. On 21/6/21 my wife Rochelle gave birth to our first child Gabriel. Unfortunately, due to a series of complications during the pregnancy, he did not survive labour. We are devastated and continue to face this battle every day, missing our little angel and wishing he was here with us. This ride will be physically taxing, but pales in comparison to the emotional toll of losing a child. My hope is that by raising funds for these great organisations, that this can contribute to reduction in the amount of infant deaths and stillbirths that occur in Australia each year.
