A new resource for bereaved dads

Fathers of Loss Series

We are very proud to share the news today of a media campaign launched across Australian metropolitan news and media outlets called ‘Fathers of Loss’.

Funded exclusively by Sydney 2 CAMberra with funds raised from our 2020 virtual event, this campaign depicts 10 short online videos filmed with Dad’s who have lost their babies, including Craig Christie from our Sydney 2 CAMberra community.

The Dad’s in our children’s lives often suffer in silence through their grief - this campaign aims to help them reach out for help and support when they need it most.

Our sincere thanks to Red Nose Australia and Sands Australia for producing this very important campaign. We would also like to thank all of our Sydney 2 CAMberra families and supporters who have donated to our cause during 2020 in order to make this happen.

Fathers of Loss Series

Supporting dads through the heartbreak and devastation.

Fathers of Loss is a new support series from Red Nose and proudly supported by Sydney2CAMberra, made especially for dads.

So often, dads are overlooked when their baby or child dies. They are asked ‘how’s your partner,’ regularly, but friends and family often forget to ask how they are.

Fathers of Loss highlights that dads grieve too and need their friends, family, and the wider community to support them.

It’s ok to ask for help, and Red Nose is here for dads 24/7, now and for as long as they need us.
